Man shot, killed in Mattapan, police say

Aman was shot and killed in Mattapan early this morning, according to Boston police. Officers responded to reports of a person shot on Fessenden Street at about 12:30, and ruled the shooting a homicide, said police Sergeant John M. Johnson. No other details were immediately available. The killing was the 64th homicide in the city this year.
