Ex-Cambridge star Robinson gets 6 1/2 years for bank fraud

Rumeal Robinson, the former Cambridge Rindge and Latin School star who clinched the NCAA men’s basketball championship for Michigan in 1989 with two free throws and later played in the NBA, has been sentenced to 6 1/2 years in federal prison for bank fraud, according to court documents filed yesterday.
