Dorchester shooting kills 1, injures 3
Four men were shot, one later dying of his wounds, in an early-morning incident in Dorchester yesterday, police said.
Cops responded to 40 Ames St. at about 12:22 a.m. and found a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, said police spokesman Officer Eddy Chrispin.
Two men, ages 18 and 21, were found near 148 Talbot Ave. in Dorchester. Both were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Chrispin said.
A 20-year-old man was found in a car near Grove Hall at Warren Street and Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester, Chrispin said. He was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition, Chrispin said.
No arrests have been made, Chrispin said. The shootings remain under investigation.
