CORI & JUVENILE RECORDS CAN HURT YOU
Criminal records can make it hard to get a job, housing, or job training, and move forward with your life.
Staff and volunteers from Greater Boston Legal Services (GBLS) CORI Project can answer questions about:
► CORI reform that goes into effect on May 4, 2012.
► When and how you can seal your criminal records under the new laws.
► What police and others see on your CORI or juvenile records before and after sealing of records.
► What employers can ask or not ask about your records and arrests BEFORE you seal your records.
► What employers can ask or not ask about your records and arrests AFTER you seal your records.
► What to do about employment discrimination based on CORI.
► When can you stop charges from becoming CORI after an arrest.
