SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday 8 am to 4pm

Responsible for Department of Public Health billing (EIM).

Responsible for overseeing and entering data into the HMIS database.

Responsible for office related duties including but not limited to typing, filing, preparing memos, letters, agendas, faxes, composing correspondence and providing telephone coverage.

Responsible for maintaining all assigned office equipment in a clean and workable condition.

Assure all assigned files, records and data base are maintained in a neat, orderly and efficient manner for reference and/or follow-up purposes.

Requires the ability to utilize the computer in preparing various monthly billings, database, spreadsheets and other related documents.

Responsible to take referrals and assess applications for admission, prepares all paperwork associated with interview and admission process.  Make all outside referrals associated with supportive services for clients.

Responsible to monitor client’s EAEDC and food stamp benefits.

Requires the ability to handle various prescription drugs and give these drugs to applicable clients who medicate themselves.

Perform other similar and related duties as required and directed.

EDUCATION:

Graduation from a recognized program of business or secretarial arts and/or the equivalent knowledge and experience required.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of one year’s experience in an office management required. Computer knowledge and skills required.
