Synopsis:
“Particles” is a romantic sci-fi set in the future. Two young married scientists, Paulette and James, are struggling to start a family when James’ life is tragically cut short in an accident at the top secret scientific laboratory where they work. Paulette is grief stricken but soon discovers there is more to James’ accident than meets the eye. She begins to suspect that James may not be dead, but rather trapped somewhere in time. Will her quest to reunite with him succeed or has her grief clouded her judgment and set her on a path to destruction?
SEEKING:
Paulette – Female, late 20s to mid 30s, Asian (preferred) or Caucasian brunette. – A scientist. At different points in the film she is a happy newlywed, then a frustrated housewife, then a grieving widow who then gains determination. 6 days of shooting (flexible schedule preferred.)
James – Male, late 20s to late 30s, any ethnicity – Married to Paulette. He is sweet and understanding, the perfect husband. A scientist. – 4-5 days of shooting.
Calvin – Male, late 40s- mid 70s, Caucasian – The supervisor at the laboratory where Paulette and James work. Gruff and humorless, intimidating demeanor. 1-2 days of shooting
Edith – Female, 20s-40s, any ethnicity – Paulette’s co-worker at the lab. Bookish and quiet, but can spring into action and yell if she spies someone breaking the rules. 1-2 days of shooting

Auditions will be held at Emerson College in Downtown Boston (South side of Boston Common)
