SYNOPSIS: Whitefoot is about an experienced, merciful social worker faced with the dilemma of taking a promotion to provide for his family, or continuing counseling with his most promising, but troubled, inner-city youth.
SEEKING TWO LEADS for AUDITIONS on 2/22, 2/23, and 2/24 at Boston University.
JAMES: [Male. White. 30s.] Experienced, merciful social worker. His idealism to help impoverished youth conflicts with the real, pressing issues of providing for his family.
RASHARD: [Male. Black. Mid-late teens. SMALL, SKINNY (under 5’9″).] Intelligent teen pressured by the demands of his gang. Obstinate, but vulnerable. Wants to break free, but can never admit it.
