“Wild Ruse”
A short (30-40 minute) caper film with a surreal twist, in which a burned cop hires a unreliable, possibly psychotic thief to pull a job on a mysterious and notorious mob boss.
NON-UNION actors only; Moderate compensation for speaking roles.
Carolyn Pickman will be assisting Director David French in casting these roles.
You will need to commute to BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY in WALTHAM, MA
The shoot is scheduled to begin in early March and runs through mid-April. Weekends only.
Auditions will be held at BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY on FEBRUARY 17 & 24.
SEEKING:
MALE, 25-35 years old. Stocky or athletic build to portray a cynical ex-cop. LEAD
MALE 25-35 years old. Red hair, or willing to dye hair. Thin, or lean build preferred, and portraying a tricky thief. LEAD
SUPPORTING ROLES:
MALE, any age. muscular or physically imposing actors.
MALE, 18-23 years old. Sleazy or seedy looks/demeanor to play young criminals.
MALE, 16-20 years old. Stocky or athletic build to portray high school version of the cynical ex-cop
MALE, 16-20 years old. Red hair, or willing to dye air. Thin, or lean build preferred to portray a high school drop-out.
NON-SPEAKING ROLES:
MALE, 23-33 years old. Minimum 6 foot height. Must own black suit. Mob Henchman.
MALE, 35-45 years old. Male actor. Minimum 6 foot height. Must own black suit. Mob Boss.
