Yesterday August 28th, 2013 hundreds gathered on Boston Commons for the “March for Jobs” picking up the unfinished business of the historic March on Washington on its 50th Anniversary. The event was organized by a broad coalition led by Boston Workers Alliance (BWA) and featured many speakers representing the organizations in attendance. The event was keynoted by former Boston City Councillor Chuck Turner who made his first public speaking appearance since his return home from Federal Prison.

Hey Jamarhl remember when you used to call him LOON Turner… worked on a city council campaign against him (Henriquez) and constantly called him an ineffective leader— cuz we do.

I actually dont remember that but please refresh my memory with a link here in the comments section.
I definitely worked on Henriquez campaign “against” him and had many concerns about issues which Chuck championed. At the end of the day I think you will find that Turner and myself share more ideals than we do disagreements on tactics and strategy. I definitely had different ideas than he and did not feel that he did not do everything on my personal checklist but overall me or anyone else cannot say that Chuck was not a fighter, or was a coward or was misguided in his intent. Please elaborate here in this comments section if you disagree.
