Earlier tonight John Barros issued a statement to Blackstonian regarding keeping Ed Davis as Police Commissioner if he were elected mayor:
OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM JOHN BARROS:
“In light of all the issues around diversity at BPD that has been raised regarding the leadership of Commissioner Davis, I can not commit to keeping him as Commissioner. I will open up a process to hire a Commissioner, once Mayor.”
