5th DRIVE / Boston 5th Annual Toy Drive

As you may have heard by now, DRIVE/Boston is conducting its 5th Annual Toy Drive this year. DRIVE/Boston was founded by Darrin Howell and Kevin Wayne Thomas in 2008 and is focused on helping out individuals transitioning out of incarceration, many of whom often struggle to find employment. We have provided men and women with the basic tools for re-entry or entry into the work environment. We assist with providing clothing, basic computer literacy, developing resumes, and overall support for individuals and their journey ahead.

We have focused during the holiday seasons on giving back to the families of those who have lost love ones to incarceration. For the last four years we have held our Toy Drive in different locations throughout the City of Boston and have collaborated with several organizations and individuals. With the ever growing success of this event, we are inviting others to participate and show their support.

Please feel free to reach out – we appreciate anything you can do. You can show your support in a number of ways. You can donate toys, provide gifts cards for some of the older youth who might be in attendance, or come out and volunteer All positive support is welcomed. Any questions, please feel free to contact Darrin at 617-595-6879 or email [email protected].
