Charlotte Golar Richie appointed to MCAD by Gov. Patrick
On July 8th, Charlotte Golar Richie will begin her new position as a commissioner of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD). Golar Richie was appointed by Gov. Deval Patrick to the post which is reported to pay $113,741. This appointment was first reported by State House News Service and has now made its way to the Globe & the Herald. The announcement of this appointment has come as a surprise to many in the community whom, while not wanting to comment publicly, were unsure whether this appointment is the proper fit for Golar Richie.
