We are excited to announce that the next Attorney General’s Community Action Hours is coming this month. This time we will be at Catholic Charities of Greater Boston, Haitian Multi Service Center, 185 Columbia Road Suite 314. Dorchester, MA 02121. The date will be Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
Attorney General Maura Healey has committed herself to being the “People’s Lawyer” and this effort will bring the AG’s Office to the community to ensure communities know about their rights and responsibilities. We will be bringing our lawyers, investigators and advocates to offer multilingual information about the new Earned Sick Time and Domestic Workers laws, in addition to offer opportunities to answer questions or take complaints about worker’s rights and consumer violations, but also civil rights, human trafficking and many other services offered to the public by the “People’s Law Firm”.
