1st Black Woman Sworn In MA Supreme Judicial Court
Associate Justice Geraldine S. Hines
Geraldine Hines was sworn in on July 31st as the newest Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Hines is a well-respected legal mind and makes a welcome addition to the court. She came to Boston from the Mississippi Delta in the era of original Jim Crow.
