Blackstonian supports Setti for Senate
Blackstonian is pleased to hear of Newton Mayor Setti Warren’s decision to run for US Senate.
Setti is the 1st Black Mayor of Newton and the son of Boston icon, the late Dr. Joseph Warren.
Setti is a sharp, honest candidate who I think is perfect to balance the responsibilities of a US Senate seat. I believe he can navigate through issues of race, class and gender. As the Mayor of Newton, he recently traveled to Roxbury to visit Blackstonian Family Salih Rowe ate Facing Love IV. This gesture showed not only commitment but the ability to move in either suburban or inner city circles.
