Attorney Stephanie Soriano recently joined Denner Pellegrino, LLP, Counselors At Law, where she focuses her practice on criminal law. Stephanie is a former Assistant District Attorney Supervisor and Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County. In that capacity she conducted all phases of criminal prosecution in jury and bench sessions, including trials, motions, plea negotiations, lobby conferences and probation surrenders including 18 jury trials and over 50 bench trials. She also served as Point Prosecutor of the Juvenile Session in Chelsea and the Safe Neighborhood Initiative Gang Prosecutor. She supervised six Assistant District Attorneys, Victim Witness Advocates and Civilian Investigators and support staff.
Ms. Soriano received her JD from Suffolk University Law School and was recognized in 2001 as the “Most distinguished Oral Advocate.” While in law school she was a “George Napolitano Intern” for the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination. She also served as a member of the Latin American Law Students and the Black Law Students Associations. She received a B.A. from Merrimack College. Ms. Soriano is affiliated with the Trial Court Gender Equality Advisory Board and the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys. She is fluent in Spanish.
