About the Boston Indicators Project
The Boston Indicators Project offers new ways to understand Boston and its neighborhoods in a regional, national and global context. It aims to democratize access to information, foster informed public discourse, track progress on shared civic goals, and report on change in 10 sectors: Civic Vitality, Cultural Life and the Arts, the Economy, Education, the Environment, Health, Housing, Public Safety, Technology, and Transportation. The Boston Indicators Project is an initiative of the Boston Foundation with support from the Metropolitan area Planning Council and the City of Boston. For more on the Project, visit www.bostonindicators.org.
UNDERSTANDING BOSTON is a series of forums, educational events and research sponsored by the Boston Foundation to provide information and insight into issues affecting Boston, its neighborhoods and the region. By working in collaboration with a wide range of partners, the Boston Foundation provides opportunities for people to come together to explore challenges facing our constantly changing community and to develop an informed civic agenda. Visit www.tbf.org to learn more about Understanding Boston and the Boston Foundation.
This Understanding Boston forum is supported in part by the CIVIC LEADERSHIP FUND at the Boston Foundation. For more about the Civic Leadership Fund, visit www.civicleadershipfund.org
This is a public forum. The Boston Foundation will be photographing and videotaping this event for archival, informational and educational purposes.
