Recently, in MA an organization has circulated a video about “sagging pants” which details punishments of arrest, fines, and up to 3 yrs in jail.
This forum is to discuss the criminalization of our youth and the dangerous implications via mass incarceration, school to prison pipeline, etc.
This forum is not to discuss the validity of whether or not “sagging pants” is acceptable or attractive, the organizers of this forum are not fans of this trend, rather we are more concerned with the various means and methods by which black & brown children are further criminalized and introduced earlier and earlier to the criminal justice system and law enforcement.

The producers of this PSA are apparently attempting to force fit a few MA General Laws in this campaign.
MA General Laws
Chapter 272: Crimes against chastity, morality, decency and good order
Section 16: Open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior
