The Dookhran family appreciates all the support that the community has shown for Darryl. We hope that justice will be served for him soon. The media made Darryl look like a street thug who had nothing going for himself. He had 2 jobs, ready to start college in the Fall and had a family behind him, who loved him dearly. That day his life was taken, Darryl just wanted to get his computer fixed at a computer shop next to Sobrino Market. There is a lot more to this story than what the media is saying and we hope the community comes forward, so we can receive justice. We want to stop this “war” that police think is justified just because of a persons past.
How many more people in our community will be killed by police & just let it be swept under the rug? Just because they wear a badge doesn’t mean we have to let things go…especially the Dookhran family. We will not stop until we find out the truth about what happend to Darryl.
