Gov. Patrick Signs Minimum Wage Increase To $9/Hr.
After a major statewide push by organizers and workers’ advocates Gov. Deval Patrick signed legislation that will raise Massachusetts’ minimum wage from $8/hr to $9/hr beginning Jan. 1st, 2015. Gov. Patrick stated that the minimum wage will increase to $11/hr by 2017.
