The Blackstonian had a conversation with BPD Commissioner Evans regarding the statements he made while testifying during a recent trial.
The Commissioner had this to say:
“When I used the word ‘unfortunately,’ I was talking about the civil service exam process because under the current system we don’t get the diversity that we want. The exam system and the process is broken, not the diversity in the city.”
