Bell Biv DeVoe will perform at a free unity concert on Boston’s City Hall Plaza Saturday and people are being asked to donate school supplies for students in Houston after Harvey caused widespread flooding and devastation in the area.
Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Senator Linda Dorcena Forry made the announcement Sunday. Bell Biv DeVoe, a hometown musical group, is part of the free concert, which begins at 7 p.m. on Sept. 9.
Anyone attending the concert is asked to bring new school materials to help the families and children in Houston. The donations can be made at City Hall Plaza.
