Dr. Kenneth C. Edelin, a Boston physician whose 1975 manslaughter conviction for performing a legal abortion was overturned on appeal in a landmark test of medical, legal, religious and political questions surrounding abortion in America, died on Monday Dec. 30th 2013 in Sarasota, Fla. He was 74.

Lovern is a powerhouse for good. A beautiful spirit, she dedicates her time to anti-domestic violence efforts and awareness. Whether she is organizing the White Ribbon Day or the “Heel-A-Thon” she is advocating on behalf of others and through her foundation teaching people to “Love Life Now”
For G. Valentino Ball this has been the year of the hustle. His site Killer Boom Box has gone through major improvements and as a Business Man in the Future Boston Accelerator program we expect Mr. Ball to, well, Ball.
Anjela is not only an independent Black Business Woman with her company “Virtually Unstoppable” Assistants but she also finds time to do alot of community service. She is a co-founder of United Sisters of Color and together they have organized efforts for women, men, children giving away food, clothes, school supplies and hygiene kits.
