A shooting in Roxbury on Sunday, May 5th and another in Charlestown on Tuesday, May 7th brought the total of shootings in the City of Boston since the Boston Marathon to 30. On May 7th the shooting in the Bunker Hill Projects of Charlestown resulted tragically in the city’s 15th homicide of 2013.
A broad daylight shooting in the parking lot of Walgreen’s at the busy intersection of Warren St. & Quincy St. left one man dead and another wounded. The shooting took place at this busy intersection which is directly diagonal from Boston Latin and across from the recently shuttered Roxbury Comprehensive Health Center.
BostonGlobe reports about an overnight shooting of two, which left one woman wounded and one man dead.
This brings the new total to 26 people shot since the Boston Marathon Bombings.
